Key components of joints:

• Joint (synovial) fluid - should be thick and viscous to lubricate the joint and absorb shock

Key ingredients and their functions:

Collagen - a key component for the formation of the water matrix of cartilage, which provides structural strength and elasticity. We are proud to use a sustainable and ethical source of marine collagen.

Hyaluronic acid - the main glycosaminoglycan (GAG) that maintains the viscosity of joint fluid, lubricating joints and acting as a natural shock absorber.

Amino acids - the basic building blocks for the production of amino sugars such as glucosamine, which are key to the formation of other glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) attached to the collagen matrix, thus maintaining solid and functional cartilage.

Trace minerals (manganese, silicon, copper) - play a key role in the production of structural compounds such as chondroitin, and in the synthesis of collagen and hyaluronic acid.

MSM - a natural, bioavailable source of sulfur, essential for strengthening bonds within the cartilage matrix and maintaining a normal inflammatory response.
