Vitamin E and Selenium complement each other and together play a vital role in supporting healthy muscle and nerve function, as well as supporting the immune system.
The antioxidant role of these two key micronutrients is particularly important for horses and ponies in high-intensity competition to protect muscles and other body cells from oxidative damage. Antioxidants scavenge harmful free radicals. Free radicals are naturally produced in the body during normal exercise, but excessive production of free radicals during intense exercise, illness and stress can cause oxidative stress and cell damage, leading to reduced performance and delayed recovery.
It must be remembered that excessive selenium intake can quickly become toxic, and the addition of selenium and vitamin E supplements should be carefully considered, in conjunction with other dietary sources of selenium. The selenium levels in Equine America Vitamin E and Selenium have been carefully formulated to be safely administered with most typical competition horse diets.
All ingredients have been selected to be fully compliant with Racing Rules and the FEI Clean Sport Guidelines.

Preparation form: Solution in water - to be diluted before use according to instructions.

Instructions for use
For best results, empty and clean the water tank, removing organic matter. Apply Water Treatment when refilling at a ratio of 100 ml of Water Treatment per 100 liters of water (e.g., a standard tank of approx. 1m x 0.5m = 200 liters and will therefore require 200 ml of product).
Reapply Water Treatment to a filled tank approximately every 3 weeks to maintain clean water.

Safety instructions: Protective equipment is recommended when using the product. Eye irritation (2, H319) from undiluted form - rinse thoroughly with clean water. If swallowed, rinse mouth with water. DO NOT induce vomiting.
Safe disposal: After dilution, the aqueous solution can be discharged into drains in accordance with local regulations.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight.
