Cortaflex® HA Regular Strength Solution is designed to nutritionally support joint health in horses and ponies in light to moderate work, and older horses that need extra mobility support!

Cortaflex® HA Regular Strength Solution contains a proven blend of key ingredients in a palatable, low-sugar liquid form, making it suitable for horses and ponies prone to laminitis. The product includes collagen, hyaluronic acid, trace elements and amino acids to provide essential nutritional support to maintain healthy cartilage and joint fluid. Cartilage is a spongy, elastic material that covers the ends of bones within a joint, acting as a major shock absorber and reducing friction. Joint (synovial) fluid needs to be thick and viscous to lubricate the joint, also acting as a key shock absorber.

Collagen – one of the most abundant proteins in the body, provides the structural framework for cartilage, giving it strength and elasticity. We are proud to confirm that we use a sustainable and ethical source of marine collagen.

Hyaluronic acid – a key compound from the glycosaminoglycan (GAG) group that helps maintain the viscosity of joint fluid, lubricating cartilage and acting as an additional shock absorber.

Amino acids – provide the nutritional building blocks for the production of amino sugars. The best known amino sugar is probably glucosamine, important as a subunit for the production of other compounds such as glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) which bind to the collagen framework in cartilage, increasing its strength and elasticity.

MSM – provides a natural, bioavailable form of sulfur, a key mineral for bonding compounds within cartilage, improving strength, and helping to maintain a normal inflammatory response.
