BELMONDO® Trend
The comfortable BELMONDO® Trend meets high demands: the thermally insulating air cushion structure provides horses with a soft, cushioning surface that is friendly to them. The special elasticity provides support when standing up and lying down, while the horse can stand on a flat and stable surface at the same time.
BELMONDO® Trend is often used for animals that need extra softness and support due to diseases such as hoof inflammation or osteoarthritis. It is also ideal for older horses. The soft surface structure reduces friction, especially for sensitive horses, to a minimum.
These mats are designed for stalls and lying areas (e.g. in open stables) and can withstand vehicle traffic. Thanks to the precise jigsaw-like connection system, they are easy to install using the floating method. Rubber bumps on the underside additionally ensure better hygiene.
Using BELMONDO® Trend substrates reduces the need for litter, the amount of dust and manure, and makes maintenance easier.

BELMONDO® rubber pads improve stability and support the natural mechanism of the hoof. The pads absorb shock and help protect tendons and joints. In addition, the rubber has insulating properties – which means less cold from below for the horses, and therefore less muscle discomfort and stiffness.
Vulcanized rubber does not absorb liquids, so less bedding is needed to absorb moisture. A rubber pad system with minimal bedding provides your horse with the same level of softness and comfort 24 hours a day.

Horses often react sensitively to new surfaces and change their lying habits. A study conducted at the Department of Equine Science at the University of Nuertingen-Geislingen showed:
Rapid adaptation : Shortly after the pads were installed, the horses returned to their usual lying positions and displayed confident behavior.
